A Celebration of Free Speech & Its Defenders
Every day, somewhere in the United States, a student, teacher, librarian, activist or artist is fighting for free speech. When they need help, they turn to NCAC, the only national organization devoted exclusively to defending the freedom of thought, inquiry, and expression and opposing censorship in every form. At this year’s benefit, we will celebrate those who embody the mission and spirit of our work.
The evening’s honorees include award-winning author Becky Albertalli, artist and educator Karyn Olivier, and Grammy Award-winners Portugal The Man.
